Home Free LLC (“Home Free,” “we,” “us”) is a small, owner-operated machine-work business based in Amelia Court House, Virginia. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or use homefree.pro, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you request a quote through our website form, call, text, or email us, we may collect:
- Contact details: your name, phone number, and email address (if you give one)
- Job details: your property address or town, the type of job, a description of the work, and any photos or videos you send
- Communication records: the messages, texts, and call logs between us
- Scheduling and billing details, if you hire us: the job date, the agreed price, invoices, and payment records. We don’t store full card numbers on our website.
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited. They use it to keep the site running and protected.
How we use your information
We use your information only to run our business with you:
- to reply to your request and give you a price
- to schedule, perform, and follow up on your job
- to send invoices and keep business and tax records
- to call or text you about your job, for example to confirm a date or say we’re on the way
- to look at your property in person or through your photos, and to arrange required utility locates (VA811 / Miss Utility) before digging
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Photos of your property
If you send us photos, we use them to price and plan your job. We’ll only use before/after photos of your property in our advertising or on our website with your permission (for example, as part of our first-job photo discount). We won’t show your street address or house number, and we won’t include people in those photos without permission.
Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to do the work or run the business:
- Service providers that host our website and email, store files, or process payments (for example, our web host, security and content-delivery provider, and email provider). They may use it only to provide their service to us.
- VA811 / Miss Utility, which needs the job location to mark underground utilities before we dig.
- A builder or contractor who hired us for work on your property, limited to that job.
- Our accountant or tax preparer, or the authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
Calls and texts
If you give us your phone number, you agree we may call or text you about your quote or job. We don’t send marketing text blasts. If you’d rather not get texts, just reply “STOP” or tell us, and we’ll stop.
How long we keep information
We keep quote requests and job and billing records as long as needed to provide and bill for the work, and as required by law. After that, we delete them.
How we protect information
We keep your information in password-protected business accounts and devices, and only Home Free uses it. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, unless we need to keep it for tax or legal records. Email richard@homefree.pro or call or text (804) 656-5333, and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
